CMAA Participates in “Walk to End Alzheimer’s” Event

Did you know that more than 6 million Americans are living with Alzheimer’s? (Source: Alzheimer’s Association)

At CMAA, we are committed to supporting community efforts aimed at improving the wellbeing of older adults and caregivers. When we heard about the “Walk to End Alzheimer’s” event hosted by the Alzheimer’s Association, we jumped at the chance to join.

The CMAA outreach team worked hard to put together resources, materials, and goodies for community members who participated in the Walk. Our raffle baskets were an absolute hit too!

Stay tuned for more outreach updates in the coming weeks.

Thank you to MHAC and Tufts HP Foundation for a great Equity In Aging Twitter Chat!

This week, CMAA joined dozens of people and organizations in the field of aging services for a Twitter chat. We discussed how to combat the digital divide for older adults, ways we can collaborate together, and how we can successfully advocate for #EquityInAging.
