On October 9th, 2023, Central Massachusetts Agency on Aging is proud to welcome Anthony Ray Hinton to Worcester, Massachusetts.
Beginning 5:30 PM EST, at Central Community Branch YMCA – 766 Main Street – Mr. Hinton will lead a discussion on his experience as an innocent man sentenced to Death Row, and the catastrophic affects the US prison system continues to have on Black and Brown aging.
There will be an additional Q&A session after the presentation, alongside a 100-copy book giveaway and signing of Hinton’s autobiography, The Sun Does Shine.
Attendance is free, as well as food and drinks. CMAA will also be providing musical entertainment.
