We're Here to Help.

SeniorConnection provides information to help seniors and caregivers to help themselves. We understand the issues you may be coping with. Our I&R Specialists will lend an empathetic ear and help identify your elder care problem and then guide you to possible solutions for your individual circumstances. And there's no charge for our services.

Who Do We Help?

We offer our guidance to any senior, caregiver or professional with elder care concerns. Whether family or friend, if you take on any responsibility for providing help to an elder, you are a "Caregiver".

How Can We Help You?

SeniorConnection assists in numerous ways, including:

  • I&R Specialists offer confidential, individualized I&R casework.

  • As a member of national aging and caregiver networks, we can provide you with the information you need, whether you live around the corner or across the country.

  • www.SeniorConnection.org offers free info 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

    • The "Guide to Elder Services,"(GES), the region's most comprehensive online searchable database of over 1700 agencies and programs. Feel free to navigate the resources of a vast aging and caregiving network. This database allows you to customize your query for the services you need. It is an indispensable resource for professionals, Seniors or Caregivers in the field or in the home.

    • Register for "Connection for Caregivers" and find online facilitated support groups, videos, classes, expert articles and a 24-hour chat room to share ideas and feelings with other caregivers. Remember, you don't have to go it alone!

    • Surf our website to see the latest Agency News! Whether you are looking to read our Newsletter, Calendar of Events, Announcements, Volunteer Opportunities or Planning Process information, www.SeniorConnection.org will have it.

    • The Caregiver's Guide is a FREE 136 pages paperback or downloadable book for caregivers and seniors alike who are seeking information about resources in Central Massachusetts. This year the Central Massachusetts Family Caregiver Support Program enhanced the book by adding "The Tear Out Section". Here you will find helpful tools that include a Medication Information Form and an Emergency Information Sheet.

    • Our I&R Specialists know when to refer you to one of our in-house SHINE (Serving the Health Information Needs of Elders) counselors in order to help you or the Medicare beneficiary you are caring for to sort through health care options.

    • Free Lending Library rentals of books and videos on caregiving & aging hot topics.
