Worcester County Elder Abuse Prevention Round Table

The Worcester County Elder Abuse Prevention Roundtable is an association of dedicated elder-serving professionals that work to provide training, education and outreach to prevent and reduce elder abuse in Worcester County.

History of the Roundtable

The Worcester County Elder Abuse Prevention Roundtable is a coalition of elder-serving professionals that includes law enforcement, elder service agencies, Sexual and Domestic violence service providers and community service organizations. This coalition is the outcome of a 2002 training grant through the Stop Abuse and Sexual Assault Against Older Individuals or Individuals with Disabilities Program.

Since 2005 the coalition has continued to work to provide training, education and outreach to help to prevent and reduce elder abuse in Worcester County.

Any elder-serving professional in Worcester County is welcome to join the roundtable.

The Roundtable in Action

The Worcester County Elder Abuse Prevention Roundtable has provided training and conferences to all aspects of the elder and eldercare community in Worcester County including Elder Safety: A Resource Guide; a guide for elders and caregivers in English and Spanish as well as the following conferences:
